What is cloud computing?

Cloud computing is when you need to use services that aren’t available locally but can be obtained through a service provider.

As an example, suppose you have a phone with 10 GB of storage that is currently full; now you want to use some services that provide you with 100 GB of storage and you want to buy or rent it for a set period of time or for the rest of your life; you approach a company that meets your needs.

You can use the service, but the company that manages the infrastructure and hardware is known as a cloud computing company.

Let’s take a look at it from a different perspective.

Assume there is a user who requires access to multiple services provided by a single cloud provider.

She first wants to use a database and store some data, but she doesn’t have a database set up or space, so she’ll go to a cloud provider and use a service to use a database and pay the charges accordingly.

There’s another emergency, and she needs to upload some files and photos in HD quality, but her phone is out of space, and her laptop isn’t working right now, so she’ll go to cloud providers and check out their services, which she finds to be better and easier to use. For instance, Google Drive, photos, and so on.

She will need to access some tech solutions, such as an operating system and a new code repository, in order to use a provider’s solution once more.
Now, the company’s entire solution is provided to her on a rental basis, and they manage the data and infrastructure hardware in the backend for her so she can use it easily. As a result, the company that manages all of the hardware, servers, and other equipment is referred to as a cloud.

However, what we refer to as the cloud is actually another system in use by large corporations.

MEME is, therefore, correct “There is no cloud, its someone else system”

Some of the most well-known cloud service providers include:

Few people may be unsure about what we rent from the cloud in general, as there are only a few options for storage, such as S3 buckets.
DATABASES, OPERATING SYSTEMS, and so on.
