Team Lead

Team leads can come from any team, but in a tech team, the team lead is responsible for projects and management. They ensure that product quality is maintained during delivery and after delivery, as well as resolving dependencies. They work with each team member to understand the challenges and develop solutions.

They also collaborate and work cooperatively with others to solve their dependency under their own team and allocate bandwidth.

Team leads in many organizations also receive requirements, long-term plans and mockups, and expected outcome planning. They also help with the Jira board, access, assets, work ethics, other participation, and the business side of things.

Tech Lead

Tech lead is an abbreviation for technical leads. Tech leads are typically responsible for leading and working with a technical team.

They work on the standards for their technology system with company directors or clients to make sure it meets the needs of their organizational processes.

They also personalize the product to the company’s overall architecture or the needs of the customer. Technical leads develop the architecture to make integration convenient and ensure that all parts work together.

To meet the requirements, tech leads are typically engineers who are familiar with the various technologies and platforms.

Tech Leads are in charge of managing their team, sprints, requirements task prioritization, bandwidth allocation, and ensuring a pleasant working environment.

They also work to reduce dependency and make themselves available during product and architecture discussions.

“Tech leads in most organizations also serve as Team leads.”
